Court Appointed Special Advocates
Gail Cavanaugh, Author of The Retailer’s Guide to Merchant Services: From Storefront to Internet Smith, is helping to identify the barriers to permanent placement of foster children and ensuring that the courts are kept abreast of the needs of these children. Ten percent of the proceeds of this book will be donated to the CASA Advocates for Permanency Program in Rhode Island.
Gail Cavanaugh has also committed to funding private music instruction programs for twenty-five orphans in Rhode Island for one year, if she sells more than 100,000 copies.
“If you are a startup business, this book will tell you everything you need to know about accepting credit cards at your place of business, from choosing an account and taking safety precautions against fraud.” – Gail Cavanaugh.
Gail Cavanaugh became interested in the merchant services industry during the economic crisis, as banks were failing and business owners were seeking ways to reduce their fees. After studying for an advanced degree in business administration, she began writing about business and finance issues.
Her book, The Retailer’s Guide to Merchant Services, From Storefront to Internet is based on her blog, http://www.gelise1.wordpress.com.
