Pine Lodge Dolomites Open For Its First Summer Season In Selva Gardena, South Tyrol, Italy

VAL GARDENA, Italy - May 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Pine Lodge Dolomites has opened in Selva Gardena in South Tyrol, in the heart of the Italian Dolomites.

The first full-service luxury accommodation of its kind in Selva Gardena, Pine Lodge Dolomites enjoys a prime position on the south facing side of Val Gardena set amidst the Sassolungo, Puez and the Sella Massif mountains. The ski-lifts are within just 300 metres of the chalet as are a myriad of spectacular hiking trails.

The beautiful Val Gardena in South Tyrol is part of the alliance of Leading Mountain Resorts of the World and offers a wide range of outdoor activities (fabulous winter sports, biking, hiking and climbing), as well as a rich calendar of cultural, musical and sporting events year-round.   The village of Selva Gardena (altitude 1563m) with just 2600 inhabitants, is famed for its great hospitality tradition and its exceptional location: the most beautiful slopes of the Dolomiti Superski ski carousel is easily accessible and the famous Sella Ronda runs through the village.

Pine Lodge Dolomites is the vision of British Interior Designer Susanna Scott and her Italian husband, Georg Planker, a successful hotelier. With its own private concierge, personal chef, butler and housekeeper, the chalet offers guests the services of a luxury boutique hotel with all the comforts and privacy of a home.

Custom-built, Pine Lodge’s excellent craftsmanship is evident in its elegant and understated style. Drawing on Val Gardena’s long tradition of wood-carving and carpentry in a new, contemporary way, Pine Lodge’s design and interiors draw out the natural beauty of the wood used. Different textures and hues enhance the wood rather than distract to create a warm and harmonious environment which make guests feel comfortable and immediately at home.

Pine Lodge Dolomites accommodates up to eight guests in four beautifully furnished bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and have access to the garden and sun patio. There is also a staff room which can sleep a further two guests.

The stylish open plan living and dining area has a central log fire and floor to ceiling windows providing unobstructed views of the breath-taking scenery. This opens onto a terrace.  The evening sun is best appreciated from the back terrace with its spacious lounge area and central fire-place.

Pine Lodge Dolomites features a professional kitchen, a bar, an in-home cinema with PlayStation 4, a small gym, a ski and boot room, and a garage that can house three cars and three outdoor parking spaces. There is free WiFi throughout.

Guests looking to unwind after a long day on the slopes or hiking can choose between a Finnish, Bio Sauna, or Infrared, or relax in the outdoor hot tub. In-room massage treatments may also be arranged and an indoor infinity pool is planned for this winter.
