May 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Mezcal Sacrificio is made in Oaxaca in the Southwestern region of Mexico, where the earth is ideal for growing espadin agaves. Myths surround this ancient and mystical spirit. Legend has it that a lightning bolt struck an agave plant, cooking and opening it, releasing its liquid bounty. For this reason, many call mezcal the ‘elixir of the Gods’.

Robert Plokin of Bar Media says, “Both expressions of Mezcal Sacrificio are masterpieces. Mezcal Sacrificio Joven has pristine clarity, a lightweight body and a spicy, herbal and pepper nose. Its vibrant palate is laced with the flavors of roasted agave, citrus zest, fruit and black pepper. The finish is long and flavorful”. Of the Reposado, he furthers, “It is elegant and rustic at the same time. The mezcal has a faint amber/golden hue with herbaceous aromas with mesmerizing, smoky notes. Its aromatics alone are worth the price of admission”.
