VetPronto is expanding to Silicon Valley

SAN FRANCISCO - May 5, 2015 - PRLog -- VetPronto is now offering veterinary house calls on the SF Peninsula and South Bay. Hundreds of pet owners in San Francisco have already experienced the joy that is not going to the veterinary clinic. Now residents of Silicon Valley will be able to give their pets the highest quality and most convenient veterinary care, too.

Customers can book appointments via smartphone app, online or by phone. VetPronto collects pets’ medical histories and provides an estimated cost of each house visit, which is typically less expensive than traditional clinic appointments. VetPronto visits are available nights and weekends. In addition to being more convenient and affordable for pet owners, VetPronto appointments are markedly healthier and less stressful for pets themselves. A recent study performed by Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine reports significantly lower blood pressures and pulse rates in animals examined at home vs. in clinical settings.
