Anna Maria Oyster Bar Holds Tax Day Blood Drive

SARASOTA, Fla. - May 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Bradenton, Florida – May 5, 2015 – Locally owned, multi-award-winning restaurant Anna Maria Oyster Bar (AMOB) is pleased to announce that 154 donors participated in the annual Tax Day Relief Blood Drive on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. The donation collections were performed by the OneBlood Big Red Bus at all three AMOB locations: Bradenton Landside, 6906 14^th Street West; Bradenton Cortez, 6696 Cortez Road West; and Ellenton, 1525 51^st Avenue East.

Anna Maria Oyster Bar hosts four blood drives per year on behalf of SunCoast Blood Bank and OneBlood. In 2014, AMOB collected 266 units of blood for OneBlood at its Tax Day and Halloween blood drive events. In addition to a wellness checkup, including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening, all donors on Tax Day 2015 received a T-shirt and a coupon to enjoy a free lunch or early bird special at AMOB.
