WASHINGTON - May 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Leadership and diversity educator, Omékongo Dibinga encourages student leaders to take action during Baltimore’s uprising.

Fighting against discrimination across the world, Dibinga urges students to lead progressive discussions for all voices in their community during this time of unrest.

“In the case of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray and others, I found myself wondering how students could take the lead on adequately approaching discussions and finding solutions- when they have received such poor examples from some adults.”

In his blog, How Student Leaders Can Respond to Ferguson and Other Tense Issues, Dibinga narrates four steps student leaders can implement that will allow them to be a conduit for potential change and earn respect among their peers.

Today, his mission has helped to advocate for justice and against inaction. To this end,  Dibinga's work with countless schools, agencies, nonprofits, and the United Nations has focused on closing the gap between peer educators and marginalized populations.
