In this true story we find John, a normal 20-something guy, in a fast fight for his life. He's soaked in sweat, breathing heavy, and worst of all, he can't stop vomiting. A confused surgeon takes a stab at John then leaves him untreated for three days as the anxiety grows into a disorder. These mysterious and painful vomit-attacks force several ambulance rides to emergency rooms and numerous hospital stays that leave John looking like an addict. The syndrome gets worse, as he faces non-treatment and social stigmas that turn him into a combatant that winds up having to fight another surgeon to keep his own heart in his chest. Sometimes it can seem like a nightmare. Yet, in the darkest nightmare and pushed by intense suffering, as it truly is and as it happens, there can come bright lights. Lights shining with beautiful compassion. Compassion so strong and alluring it's sexually charged and is delivered hot by nurses. In a way they're like him, just moving through the suffering until they're distracted by a story they can really connect to and need to. It's these intimate connections with tough-working hard-caring nurses that can and do empathize with John's suffering that allows him to keep his humanity, and keep reaching out into the rest of the world, where more growth and diversity continues to spread in the background of his developing life. It's really something you have to see to believe. It's the kind of real-life experience that might make your head explode. End
