FRESNO, Calif. - May 1, 2015 - PRLog -- LAKOS Filtration will introduce its new eJPX High Efficiency Separator for steel and metal plants at the AISTech Iron and Steel 2015 conference next week. The LAKOS eJPX is the highest efficiency centrifugal separator ever tested for industrial filtration applications. Used as the primary filtration method or as a pre-filter for finer filtration, the eJPX features a newly patented design with several enhancements over previous models. The result is the only centrifugal separator with verified independent testing results confirming 98% removal efficiency at 44 microns (325 mesh) in a single pass. A great solution for descaling pumps, process cooling, and other steel mill filtration applications.

The low maintenance of the eJPX separator is due to the fact the separator itself has no moving parts, no filter cartridges to replace, and minimal water loss.

LAKOS will also feature the new SmartPurge valve system at AISTech, designed for use in tandem with the eJPX. The SmartPurge system is a fully automated purge sensor system that detects the solids level within a LAKOS separator and automatically purges the accumulated solids.
