About The Author

Dale Netherton graduated from Iowa State University, attended Iowa University, obtained an M.B.A. from Nova University, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and has worked as a forester, a lab technician, a plant sanitarian, and a plant services manager. After retiring, he built a campground/hunting retreat, started up a Rent-a-Helper handyman business, wrote over 250 essays and two novellas, and published a book of essays and a book on retirement. He has also produced two poetry videos, a series of poems for photographers, and has had many poems accepted in "Lyrical Iowa".

Dale resides with his wife Donna in South East Iowa, on the Des Moines River.
