On Food Revolution Day, May 15, 2015,communities around the world will engage infamily fun, food tasting and meet with local farmers, while learning about how it all relates to healthy living. “My wish is to create a strong sustainable movement to educate every child about food, inspire families to cook again and empower people everywhere to fight obesity,” says Jamie Oliver, internationally renowned child food education advocate and television personality. Versandra Kennebrew, Food Revolution Day Ambassador for Georgia, merges this message of food education into her 30-city book tour, empowering healing artists and health enthusiasts to think of healthy eating as their greatest tool for self-care and a perpetual act of self-love.

When Kurundi Daniels, proprietor of Authentic Self Enterprises heard about The Love Tour 2015, she felt Kennebrew’s passion and decided to become the lead Love Tour Ambassador for Columbus.  She began assembling her Columbus team which includes collaborations with; Reach 4 Your Dreamz Inc., Chef Veronica Lisane and Coleman’s Italian Ice. Families, students and alumni of the healing arts, foodies and green living aficionados are all invited to share in this health and wellness weekend, which culminates Saturday May 16, with a Health & Wellness Day at Northside Park, 10 am – 4 pm at 2010 American Way, Columbus GA.
