Ellesmere Port jewellery designer wins national wedding services award
By: ARK Contemporary Designs
The editors commented on how impressed they were with owner Angela Kennedy’s bespoke wedding service ‘Make your own wedding rings workshops’. At the workshops couples have an initial visit to discuss design of their rings as well as size and metals to be used then spend a full day making them under Angela’s guidance and tuition.
Angela works with a variety of materials including sterling silver, 9ct and 18ct gold and precious and semi-precious stones. As well as making other bespoke wedding jewellery including tiaras, cufflinks and bridesmaids gifts, Angela takes on commissions to design and handcraft all types of jewellery. She also redesigns and remodels existing jewellery and provides a repair service that includes replacement of missing gemstones.
Angela says ‘I was delighted to receive this award; it’s a huge seal of approval for the services I offer. The workshops are really popular with the couples that come along as it means a lot to them to have their rings made this way. It also helps them solve problems like finding a wedding ring to match or fit around an engagement ring.’
Angela worked within the NHS for 28 years before turning her jewellery making hobby into a full time business in 2008. For more information about the wedding rings workshops, group-based jewellery making workshops or any other services contact Angela on 07917 330790 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Angela also showcases her work at various art galleries and craft fairs across the region and at her online shop (www.arkcontemporarydesigns.co.uk/
