The Cookbook Club at the Oliver Wolcott Library

LITCHFIELD, Conn. - April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- One cannot live on bread alone - we also “knead” books and good conversation! Join Audra MacLaren and Patricia Moore at the May meeting of The Cookbook Club to eat and discuss all things bread.

  We will have four cookbooks plus a bread enthusiast’s memoir available for check out.  We encourage you to make recipes from your selected cookbook and come ready to chat about what worked, what didn’t, and what you cannot wait to make again.

  Audra and Patricia will be bringing some of their favorites to the discussion and we encourage you to do the same - don’t be intimidated, we are all just amateur cooks who enjoy baking, and love and “knead” books!  We will also bring olive oil, butter, jam and cheese. If you have a favorite bread condiment, please feel free to bring that along too.

  All Oliver Wolcott Library events are free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration is required and can be done by calling 860-567-8030 or logging onto www.owlibrary.org and clicking on Programs/Adult Programs.
