Sophie Davis School Health Fair Provides Free Medical Services for Community
Health Fair in Harlem Brings Together an Amazing Assortment of Community Aid
In Arms Reach has worked in collaboration with Sophie Davis for 14 years serving low income children with a primary focus on children impacted by the justice system providing mentoring; educational interventions, career and college preparation. On Saturday In Arms Reach will be demonstrating some of the medical education their children have received up at the College.
The Foundation’s board member Dr. David Levine will also be in attendance. Dr. Levine has been practicing in the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area for nearly 20 years; he specializes in the treatment of chronic and severe pain. His patients include NBA and NFL Hall of Famers as well as World Champion Boxers. He also donates his time and expertise to U.S. military personnel suffering acute and chronic pain and those returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan with post-war injuries. This year’s Health Fair will be another great opportunity for these organizations to again demonstrate their longstanding commitment to serving the community.
