By: French-American Chamber of Commerce DFW “We’re honored to be able to share this special event with veterans who helped make this victory possible,” said FACC President Patricia Zilliox. “May 8 – or V-E Day as it’s referred to in the U.S. – marks the end of a tragic period in French and American history – World War II. Prior to the Gala, the Honorable Sujiro Seam, Consul General of France, will present la Légion d’honneur award to a group of World War II veterans for their service. The celebration will also take place at the newly renovated Adolphus Hotel.
