The Essex Chamber Ensemble has performed for the Du Pont Wedding, the wedding of one of the members of the Royal Family of Sri Lanka and the wedding of one of the family members of the famous conductor Arturo Toscanini. Their magnificent instruments and musicianship enhances every wedding.

The CD is geared for ceremony music. For a cocktail hour the strings can perform Broadway Show Songs, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Scott Joplin, easy swing, love songs and familiar classical melodies.

Stan Wiest provided the 14 piece string orchestra for the world wide premier of the movie “Made Of Honor” starring Patrick Dempsey at the Ziegfield Theatre New York City.

The orchestra performed in the tent in front of the Ziegfield Theatre on 54 Street as the stars walked down the red carpet
