April 24, 2015 - PRLog -- RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner owned by White Star Line, the Queen of the Ocean sailed from Pier 10, Southampton on Wednesday April 10th, 1912 heading for New York, after colliding with an iceberg during her Maiden Voyage, she sank in the North Atlantic Ocean just off the coast of Newfoundland in the early morning of April 15th, 1912.

The wreck of the RMS Titanic is located about 370 miles (600 km) south-southeast of the coast of Newfoundland.

RMS Titanic is lying at a depth of about 12,500 feet (3,800 m).

Over 1,500 passengers and crew members perished in this maritime tragedy.
