Local Kirkland Gym "5Strong Fitness" Hosting Fundraising Workout

KIRKLAND, Wash. - April 23, 2015 - PRLog -- President of 5Strong Fitness, Rommel Ryan Acda, announces that Saturday, April 25, 2015 he will be hosting a Fitness For A Cause event to help raise funds for former employee Linden Griffith who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer just eight months ago.

This event is to help her raise more awareness on brain cancer and alternative therapies, as well as help her raise more funds for a round of treatment at a healing center in Hawaii in the month of May.

“Since the day of my seizure, I have been committed to fighting with every tool possible as no one seems to have an answer and Western therapies are far from comprehensive.  Since most of my alternative therapies (proton radiation/oxygen/IV/supplements/naturopath visits) are not covered by insurance, it has all been out of pocket.

I am a coach by profession and since my diagnosis, my goal has been to learn and understand as much about treatment options as possible in an effort to give back to others who will continue to walk this path after me,” says Linden Griffith.

Acda says, “We are simply looking to support Linden in any way possible with this Fitness For A Cause event to help her cause in fighting brain cancer as well as bringing more awareness to other forms of therapy.”

The funds will also help Linden learn more from the clinic in Hawaii to help others in their healing.
