Follow on Google News | Tampa Organization Seeks Funding for Youth Recognition ProjectIndieGoGo campaign contributions will help to build World Youth Hall of Fame.
By: World Youth Hall of Fame Though you're likely familiar with Bill Gates, the same may not be true of the other two names (for the record, Feiden became a Broadway producer at the age of 16, and Shane Mack was elected Mayor of Castlewood, South Dakota, at 18.) These lesser-known examples of excellence stand as illustrations of exactly what Stevens and his team hope to accomplish. By raising awareness of young people who have achieved great things, they hope to illuminate a brighter future for up-and-coming generations. The World Youth Hall of Fame has their eyes on a building located east of Tampa off of Highway 39, north of I-4. Plans for renovating the building include the construction of a patio and two walls using bricks and tiles custom-engraved with sponsors' names and messages. The building is also planned to house a rather large coin collection and the organization's growing display of signed photographs, donated by celebrities like Hulk Hogan and Barry Sanders. The organization is currently running a crowd-funding campaign on IndieGoGo to raise the money needed to acquire the building and pay for associated expenses. Contributors to the campaign will be able to earn a variety of perks, ranging from World Youth Hall of Fame t-shirts to a custom-engraved brick on the Wall of Honor.
