SACRAMENTO, Calif. - April 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Does Your Office Have Copier Problems?
Periodic maintenance is always a good idea. Select a sales and service company that you like and trust. How long have they been in business? Check out their referrals - the one's they give you and the reviews people leave on sites like Yelp.

Some Tips: Be gentle when loading and unloading paper. I know it feels good to slam that paper drawer but it's never good for the copier. Follow your service recommendations and adhere to the schedule of repair and maintenance.

Also, don't leave checks in the copier drawer. They are expensive and leaving them unattended in the drawer presents a security risk.

Your maintenance should include a professional cleaning once a quarter or more, depending on use. The last thing you want to do is miss this step and have your copier go down when you need it most.

Paper Jams
Paper dust may be the culprit here. It has a tendency to clog the machine which can cause paper jams. Keep an eye on the feed rollers and keep that handy vacuum nearby to collect any dust buildup.

Copies Are Too Light or Copies Are Too Dark
This may be the density controls, or the toner. Always use the toner recommended by your manufacturer.

Dots or Other Images on the Page
If the spots on the page aren't random, check the glass and clean as recommended. If they are random, it could be the drum or debris on the drum.

Meet the Business Owner of Carbon Copy, Inc.

Mark Scott has been in the people business since he started Carbon Copy Inc. in 1990. "I love our community. It's amazing when you talk to business owners, and they know everyone on the block. Our goal is to treat our customers with the same kind of care and respect that we would like to receive."

Some of the things that have led to his success started way before he started his career. "I grew up in a Christian home. My father was in the military, and early on my parents taught me about the importance of responsibility -- being responsible for the actions that you do.  Later, I got into scouting - I was an Eagle Scout and learned the importance of goal setting. This gave me a certain foundation of which, in starting a business, has carried me through."

Currently, Carbon Copy services 9 counties. In the end, Mark says the biggest keys to success are be respectful of his customers, work hard to meet their needs, "and you gotta know how to laugh."
