Historic 88 Drive In Theatre Season Grand Opening This Friday

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - April 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Commerce City, Colorado -- The 88 Drive-in Theatre is proud to announce it is opening its doors for the 2015 season this Friday, April 24, with a brand new state-of-the-art digital projector. The technology will provide a brighter, sharper image and will entertain like never before on a huge outdoor screen.

Despite the costly upgrades, ticket prices will remain at the low cost of $8 a person. Children under 12 are always free. Admission includes all features.

Theatre owner Susan Kochevar said, “This new technology will allow us to continue to show movies, since Hollywood is moving from film to a digital format. The new technology offers our customers stunning picture quality. It is important to us to continue offering affordable entertainment to our loyal customers.”

The historic theatre has been entertaining the community since 1976 and is dedicated to providing an affordable and nostalgic experience.  The 88 Drive-in Theatre is one of 393 drive-ins still operating in the United States. The 88 Drive-in will be open every night of the week all summer long.
