Corp! Magazine Names Troy Businessman Most Valuable Professional

The magazine annually chooses, “the Michigan executives, entrepreneurs and executive millennials that are making business happen in Michigan and hitting home runs for their companies and their communities.”

Business Success

Meier, 33, oversees EAM Consulting Group, a sales-focused staffing and recruiting company and a sales operations consulting firm that also includes a Sandler Training franchise. He is one of the youngest people to buy a Sandler Training franchise on his own in the organization’s history.

EAM has seen year-over-year revenue growth of more than 50 percent since 2010. The company is unique because it combines staffing, sales training services and data analytics to build benchmark sales organizations. Meier’s company helps to expand businesses, to increase profitability and to grow professionals so their businesses succeed.

Community Contributions

Meier is the chairman of the Board of Directors for the South Oakland YMCA as well as the Board of Directors for the Brother Rice Business Alliance. He is also past chairman of the Troy Chamber Economic Development Committee.

EAM Consulting has also partnered with many of the local business incubators: Automation Alley, Oakland County 1-stop, OU Incubator and Spartan Innovations.

Additionally, EAM has worked with college student interns to help them learn how to create business development conversations either at EAM’s headquarters or at various universities.
