IAMCP Launches Brand New Member Awards for 2015

International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners Launches Brand New Member Awards 2015 Program
April 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Background

The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) is the leading global organisation for business networking in the Microsoft partner eco-system with 100+ chapters in over 40 countries around the world. IAMCP members represent the trusted, independent voice of the Microsoft partner community.  You can find out more at www.iamcp.org.

Who participates in the IAMCP Community?

The IAMCP is a community of proactive and highly engaged Microsoft partners – a community who employs 15 million people overall and generates $580 billion in global economic activity.  One priority for the IAMCP for many years has been around peer partnerships.  It is estimated that each year the IAMCP network engages in $10.1 billion USD of partner-to-partner transaction activity. The partnerships these companies establish also makes them have increased business agility and perform better financially.  Better business results are achieved by partnering - each dollar spent on partnering resources generates $2 - $8 in gross revenues.   [Source:  Corelytics, Inc, 2011]

Microsoft Partners that are part of the IAMCP community typically enjoy significantly higher revenues and higher margins than their counterparts outside of the community. Members benefit from P2P relationships with other trusted members to generate these higher margins and deliver exceptional solutions and services to their customers.

The IAMCP Member Awards Program

This year, IAMCP is launching a brand new Awards programme for its members.  IAMCP wants to recognise its own Association members for the outstanding, innovative and creative products and services that they deliver to their customers.  Members who choose to participate in the process have an opportunity to be recognized, and have their profile elevated, both at local and corporate level inside of Microsoft. In addition, winners will benefit from increased recognition through press and social media.  Winners attending the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2015 will receive their awards at a special ceremony to be held during WPC, which this year is being held in Orlando, Florida, USA.

“The IAMCP International Awards program is a tremendous opportunity for partners to be recognized on a global stage. Partners who win awards tell us that the public acknowledgement, promotion and awareness of their solutions generates new business for them", said Gail Mercer-Mackay, IAMCP International President for 2015.

Per Werngren, IAMCP EMEA President added, "Recognition from your peers is something to strive for. The IAMCP Awards provides an outstanding opportunity to show excellence in partnering, thought leadership and relevance in the marketplace. We wish every member success in his/her endeavors to win this year and be recognized by peers in Orlando".
