North Pole Press Attends the Gaithersburg Book Festival!

GAITHERSBURG, Md. - April 20, 2015 - PRLog -- The North Pole Press will participate in the upcoming Gaithersburg Book Festival on Saturday, May 16^th, 2015. They will feature author Joe Moore who wrote, the Santa Claus Trilogy and Return of the Birds. Moore also collaborated with his wife, Mary, on a new children's book series, and they will be signing the new releases for all good boys and girls.

Santa's Elf Series© is a collection of early children's readers, written in rhyme and fully illustrated by Mary Moore. These books are designed to help teach children about colors, shapes, sizes, and even geography, no matter the season. In addition to the colorful illustrations, the rhyming and cadence of each book assists children in learning how to read and retain words faster.

The first two elves released are Jamie Hardrock, Chief Mining Elf and Shelley Wrapitup, Master Design Elf. Both these books will be available at the festival. Upon completion there will be 25 total books/elves in the series.

For those who enjoy horror/suspense novels, Return of the Birds, brings terror from the skies. Intended as a sequel to Hitchcock's famous movie, the winged creatures begin an attack on a California seaside resort town, the likes of which had not been seen in more than 50 years. And those that live through the attack itself have more horror to contend in order to survive.

In addition to Return of the Birds, Moore also penned The Santa Claus Trilogy, a set of three books written in the fantasy genre that will take you to the North Pole in the same fashion that Lewis took you to Narnia, Rowling to the wizarding world, or Tolkien to Middle Earth. The Santa Claus Trilogy is written for all ages.

The Gaithersburg Book Festival is a celebration of the written word and its power to enrich the human experience.
