Seattle Area's Two Sylvias Press Receive National Recognition in O, The Oprah Magazine

 
SEATTLE - April 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Two Sylvias Press, a small independent press located in Kingston, Washington, is featured in O, The Oprah Magazine’s April 2015 issue celebrating National Poetry Month. Founded in 2010 by Northwest poets Kelli Russell Agodon and Annette Spaulding-Convy, Two Sylvias Press publishes poetry and creativity tools for writers and artists. The featured article in O Magazine includes several poetry writing exercises from The Daily Poet (Two Sylvias Press, 2013) and highlights The Poet Tarot  (Two Sylvias Press, 2014), a tarot deck of famous poets and helpful creative tips. This article is also featured on Oprah.com.

Two Sylvias Press first gained national attention for publishing the first eBook anthology of contemporary women’s poetry, Fire On Her Tongue. Since then, the press has grown to publish poetry collections by Cecilia Woloch, Michelle Penaloza, Martha Silano, Natasha Kochicheril Moni, and Jeannine Hall Gailey.

Two Sylvias Press draws its inspiration from the poetic literary talent of Sylvia Plath and the editorial business sense of Sylvia Beach. Modern technology mixed with classic style is a trademark of this small and innovative press.
