OWLTAC A1T ENDURE: BACKUP POWERED TACTICAL FLASHLIGHT

OWLTAC designed, the A1T ENDURE flashlight, to do only one thing, to be the most reliable flashlight ever!

There are some great and bright tactical flashlights on the market, and there are some, trying to do other things than being a flashlight.

With any other flashlight in existence, it doesn't matter if it's a $250 or a $5 flashlight, at some point they are going to run out of battery charge. Most of the time, this happens when you need the flashlight the most. At that moment you either, need to have spares batteries with you, be carrying a spare flashlight or plain and simple you will be left in the dark.

Working in the aviation industry for over 20 years, this has happened to us too many times. That's when the idea of a dual independent battery power source emerged. The flashlight is one of the most important tools that any law enforcement officer, pilot, mariner or anybody can have. Why not have one designed to be one of the most reliable?

Owltac Team decided to create a flashlight with an independent backup battery, just like an aircraft system. With ideas coming from the OWLTAC crew, assistance from avionics technicians and engineers, the OWLTAC A1T ENDURE flashlight was created. The flashlight was designed in Homestead, Florida in 2014.

How does it work?

What makes the OWLTAC A1T ENDURE unique, is that it's the only flashlight that allows you to select which battery is operating independently the other. By rotating the selector switch, you manually select which battery powers the flashlight. This design allows the flashlight to operate with only one charged battery installed.This is possible due to the patent-pending design that combines the specifically designed battery carrier and selector switch. That means that you have a backup battery available to power the flashlight at all times.

When you have a depleted battery, or when you are missing one battery from the carrier it will let you know by flashing a dim light. Just move the selector switch to the other battery position and continue with your mission. It's like having two flashlights in one. Just remember to replace the depleted battery before your next assignment.

Owltac Team have been working non-stop on this project for a year. We have been doing all the necessary field and laboratory testing, and it has performed flawlessly.

Owltac Team have invested a lot of  money in the development of the working prototypes and on the fabrication of the necessary injection molds. The Injection molds are getting built at this time, and we should be ready to start mass production by July 2015.

Yelitza Sepulveda, Brian Paana and Heriberto Irizarry , have a combined background of commercial, military and law enforcement aviation, business administration, marine and outdoor recreation. Together have all the experience necessary to succeed in this project.
