Sunday, 29^th March 2015, Bengaluru: saw the convocation ceremony of Education Evangelist of India, an initiative by SkillTree Knowledge Consortium at a prestigious ceremony held in J.W. Marriott. SkillTree played host to a high profile delegation of Indian leaders of Educational institutions, Indian VIPs including the Education minister Karnataka, business leaders, society lynchpins and public figures. The pioneering event was powered by Lavasa Corporation Ltd., a subsidiary of HCC (Hindustan Construction Company), showcased and envisioned to highlight those thought leaders whose diligence and ability to dream led to the birth of some remarkable institutions.

The 2^nd Season of EEI, where SkillTree Broadcast – an entity by SkillTree Knowledge Consoritum  that anecdotes about the contribution of these exemplary leaders as earlier presented television series in media association with Times Now. This later commemorated as a launch of coffee table book which highlighted innovative models and a coalition of real time success stories.

The initiative marked the second education convocation of its kind in Bengaluru to profile some of India’s most established and respected visionaries in the higher education sector and enhancing vision and brand identity.

The esteemed proceedings began with paying a tribute to Bengaluru for being the most influencing city in the sector of Higher Education presented to the honorable education minister, Shri R. Dehspande. The SkillTree Education Evangelist of India certificate presentation was by Honorable Education Minister Shri R Deshpande and Mr. Subimal Bhattacharjee, former country head General Dynamics.

The certification ceremony was followed by a glittering dinner reception at J.W. Marriott’s Bengaluru. The distinguished guests enjoyed the cocktail reception and delicious indian cuisine post the ceremony.

Shri R. Dehspande, Education minister said “We need more world class teachers, nurses and healthcare workers, we need rare skill workers. India needs to train our youth in all these. Educators who are innovators, technology masters, and who can foresee imminent changes of future will capture the business and lead the educator entrepreneur segment. Entrepreneurs who have multitalented and multitasking will flourish and the rest will perish.
