The LIAS Service offers instantaneous access to historical lightning data to homeowners, engineers, insurance companies, investigators, and meteorologists. At the heart of the LIAS Service is the United States Precision Lightning Network™ (USPLN™), the well-known national lightning network that has been delivering real-time and archival lightning data to consumers and businesses since 2005. LIAS Reports query the past 10 years of historical USPLN lightning based on a user-specified location, time range, and region size. LIAS Reports are generated within seconds of payment verification through PayPal®. Any lightning events that result from the search are delivered in a formatted report document, an Excel®-compatible file list, and, exclusively to the LIAS Service, a Google Earth™ compatible overlay.
