PRLog -- The
Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (http://www.msfocus.org/)
is providing the perfect delectable combo for their upcoming “Meatballs & Martinis” (#Meatballs4MSF)
event on Wednesday, May 6
th, while helping to promote MS education and awareness. The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation previously launched their #Orange4MSF campaign back in February by asking the public to show their support by taking selfies with an orange. The campaign gained national attention from notable celebrities such as the cast of
Orange is the New Black and
Orange County Choppers. More recently, the foundation celebrated National MS Education and Awareness Month® in March. Jersey Mike’s Subs (http://www.jerseymikes.com)
chose MSF as the recipient of their “Month of Giving” campaign at four South Florida locations and raised over $15,000 for the organization.
Following the success of their last several events, MSF is hoping to once again spread the word about this disabling disease. “The Meatballs & Martinis theme is gaining so much popularity…it’
s a fun way to bring the community together, have some laughs, enjoy some great food, and also raise awareness,” said Nathalie Sloane, Development Director for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. The location will be at Anthony’s Runway 84 in Fort Lauderdale (
www.runway-84.com).
For a $15 donation, guests can enjoy two free cocktails, unlimited meatballs and live entertainment. Funds raised at the event will help provide free, vital programs and services for those affected by multiple sclerosis.
