Critically Acclaimed Book Series for Young Teens Now Available on Audio Book

My Life at the Bottom of the Food Chain and Own the Scrawny tell the ongoing saga of Alexander, a tech-savvy boy who thinks he has his world figured out—but is entirely wrong.

In Book One, My Life at the Bottom of the Food Chain, Alexander’s outrageous fears about everyday life in middle school dominate his entire life. He sees danger everywhere - and bullies around every corner. He’s even created a smartphone app to help him avoid his enemies.  With his fears spiraling out of control, he becomes convinced that an evil bully plot is unfolding. He sets up a huge public showdown with a boy he believes to be his arch-enemy. Alexander believes he's on the way to a great victory, but that’s not the way things turn out.

Book Two, Own the Scrawny, continues Alexander’s story, as he deals with the consequences of being the unwilling star of an embarrassing viral video. He’s become famous—for all the wrong reasons. If that wasn’t bad enough, he’s also become the target of online trolls – anonymous commenters who ridicule everything about him. He wonders: Is he really that bad? Once again, Alexander’s fears overtake reality, and he decides to become a “new” Alexander. No one is impressed.

The Alexander Adventure series was created by Rich Samuels, an Emmy award-winning producer of documentary and children’s programming.
