Can you win $200 for your school in less than 15 seconds? Shakespeare Insult-a-thon is April 23rd

Create and enter a very short Shakespearean insult video, using the insult generator, for your chance to become the 2015 Shakespeare Insult Champion!
April 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Shakespeare for Kids author, Brendan P. Kelso, has created the first ever Shakespeare Insult-a-thon.  In an effort to create fun and enjoyment around The Bard, Kelso has created a head-to-head insult video competition.  Similar in design to Mark Zuckerberg’s “Hot or Not” creation back at Harvard, Kelso is hoping this will catch a similar viral feeling.  “It’s pretty simple really, just make a 15-second or less video on your phone and upload it to YouTube.  Then just register your link at my website and you’re in the competition. No cost, just fun.”   And all ages are encourage to compete.

The videos start competing the morning of April 23rd, Shakespeare’s birthday, and will continue until a champion is declared later that day.  “Anyone can vote and there’s no cost to enter or vote.  It’s simply to have fun with Shakespeare.  The Shakespeare Insult Generator is my most popular page on my site and when I do Insult Duels with kids at their schools, they have the most fun.  This was the perfect next step.”

The great part about the Insult-a-thon is that the best insult wins $200 for the school of their choice.  There are several other levels of prizes as well, such as signed copies of Kelso’s Shakespeare for Kids books.

Need help creating a Shakespearean insult? Not to worry, Kelso has you covered for that as well.  You can download the Shakespeare Insult Generator at and create one of your own.
