SSM Home Care and Hospice is now SSM Health at Home

ST. LOUIS - April 13, 2015 - PRLog -- SSM Home Care and Hospice is now officially SSM Health at Home. Celebrations are taking place today at all SSM Health at Home locations in Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma. The name change will occur at all home care, hospice, private duty and infusion locations.

“SSM Health provides a full range of comprehensive health care services in every community we serve,” said Alison Ruehl, president of SSM Health at Home. “Now, with a common name and a renewed focus on providing a consistently exceptional experience, our patients, employees and community will know what to expect when they see the SSM Health name.”

Beyond a new name and logo we are committed to transform health care and provide affordable, high-quality health care in every community we serve. And more importantly, it means doing whatever it takes to keep our patients healthy.

The name, SSM Health at Home, was unveiled last fall when the system acquired Audrain County’s Home Health and Hospice Division. The rest of SSM Health’s clinics, hospitals and other health care services in Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma and Wisconsin will transition to the new name within the next two years.
