Free Biomass Boilers and Free Solar Systems available to 200 off grid homeowners

The Free Energy Company are looking to install free biomass boilers and free solar systems on properties that are off grid, to enable them to save hundreds of pounds on heating, hot water and electricity costs. All completely free of charge.

WARRINGTON, U.K. - April 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Andrew Heaney set up The Free Energy Company to facilitate his plans to find 200 homeowners in the UK who have lived at their current address for a minimum of 3 years and have all their utility bills for that time period. The idea is to install a completely free Biomass Boiler and a free Solar system to these properties and then collect the data over a 3 year period and make the 6 years worth of data pre and post install available to the public.

In the case of the solar, the homeowner will enter into a Power Purchase Agreement for 20 years allowing them to pay as little as 5p per kWh for the period of the agreement. This will save the homeowner a minimum of 15% per year on electricity costs, and the system will become the homeowners property at the end of the agreement. The system will be maintained, monitored and insured for free for the 20 year period.

For the Biomass Boiler, the homeowner will enter into an agreement for 7 years. Throughout this time the customer will benefit from reduced heating and hot water costs by up to 50%. The boiler will become the homeowners property at the end of the agreement. The Boiler will be maintained throughout the 7 year agreement.

Andrew Heaney believes that this is a phenomenal opportunity for householders who live off grid to benefit from 2 of the UKs most modern renewable technologies, at absolutely no cost whilst benefiting from all the cost savings.

Anyone living off grid wanting to take advantage of this study should contact

Andrew directly for more information.

“I came up with the idea having been involved in free solar for some time. For some people the costs of renewable energy technology can make it prohibitive, and I am hoping that this study will mean the technology will get to householders that need to save money on energy bills the most. In the past I have worked with asset management companies and installers that are only interested in profit for their own gains. For example, for the free solar I don't require your roof to face south, I can install East to West, and for the Biomass Boiler you only need a very low heat output of 15,000 kWh per year. I know of asset management companies that require double the heat output before they will consider helping fund a biomass install. My project should mean that almost any property can immediately qualify for a free biomass boiler and a free solar system, providing the property is not connected to mains gas.”

Andrew is also keen to point out that funding is available for free solar for homeowners who have been turned down in the past by other companies even if you are connected to the mains gas. In these cases, Biomass can not be installed but the homeowner will not be required to submit their monthly spend for the study.

The Domestic Renewable Heating Incentive (dRHI) was launched by Government on the 9th of April 2014. This Incentive was the first of its kind in the world for a heating system, and is designed to cover the costs of new technology to be installed particularly at off grid properties in the form of a Biomass Boiler.

The Feed In Tariff (FiT) was launched in the UK in April 2010 and there have been over 650,000 installs to date. The FiT is designed to cover the costs of PV systems and all associated fitting costs.
