SEED CHICAGO Kickstarter Launch Party Featuring TransparencyNOW! Wearables

CHICAGO - April 7, 2015 - PRLog -- SEED Chicago is hosting a press party at the Chicago Innovation Exchange to help launch FMW's project and 3 other projects on Kickstarter, April 14th, from 5-8pm.  bit.ly/FMWbyMax

Police body worn cameras have been frequently highlighted as the future of law enforcement for everyone's benefit.  Studies show the deployment of body cameras will provide better transparency and behavior for everyone concerned.

On April 14th via Kickstarter, a Chicago start-up appropriately named, Functional MobileWear (FMW) will take body cameras mainstream.  The potential as a mainstream product may be vast as anyone will be able to turn their mobile phone into a body camera with this new product that retails for around $40.  bit.ly/FMWbyMax

"The United States Army has been testing our tactical prototypes for a while now and after Ferguson we decided to offer them to law enforcement because mobile phones offer the most bang for our tax dollars," said Max Davis the founder of FMW.

"We also think the general public will enjoy using their mobile phones as body cameras to capture hands free fun moments from their point of view and then share the action immediately on social media.  Your average body camera will not do that," said Mr. Davis.

Nature's Little Recyclers, the Urban Vermiculture pioneers operating in Chicago's "Back of the Yards" neighborhood, are pleased to announce that they have again been selected to participate in the Seed Chicago (http://www.accionchicago.org/-home/for-business-owners/sm...) Kickstarter "crowd funding" program.

Otis Fresh Market is introducing their "Organic Things In Season" project, seeking funding to acquire transportation infrastructure to directly deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to customers across Chicago.

Alyssa Vermell is unveiling their "Because Tall is Beautiful" campaign, featuring high quality and classic fashions that are specifically designed to fit a tall woman's frame, specifically those who are 5'10" and taller.
