LOS ANGELES - April 8, 2015 - PRLog -- LGBT Film "When Rita Returns" Taps Blue Tofu

Indie pop duo Blue Tofu has been asked to produce the music for the new film "When Rita Returns".

Coming close on the heels of the success of their second album "Our Room", Andrea Mathews and Tim Story are eager to accept the challenge of a film score.  "Our music has always been about personal spaces, intimate stories and honesty," Mathews says, "so this film is just a great fit for us."

"When Rita Returns" is the story of a young gay woman working to establish her own identity as an artist, as she simultaneously struggles to navigate the social and cultural challenges of her marriage to a already-successful author.

The film's producer Alvin Franklin JR. and director Anyika Pryor are working hard to put together the perfect cast.  "Finding the perfect music is no longer an issue", says Pryor, "now that Blue Tofu is on board." Production will began June 2015 in Hollywood.
