Helping Youth Prepare for Jobs

New course for youth! Job 101 - Job Opportunity Basics for Youth

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - April 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Today's youth are often ill-equipped to get hired for their first jobs.  Who is teaching them what to do and how to act in order to get hired?  Sadly, it's often not happening at home or at school.  Youth are not learning how to dress for an interview, how to use manners when interacting with a potential employer or how to create a resume and answer job interview questions, among other things.

Introducing Job 101 - Job Opportunity Basics for Youth!  In this 2-hr workshop, students will learn the following:

-How to find a job
-How to fill out an application
-How to prepare a resume
-How to prepare and conduct themselves in an interview
-What prerequisites, classes or training to take
-How to get the job and maintain it

Owner of Safety First CPR & Safety Training, Tukz Taaca, who has a professional background with interviewing and hiring youth, is teaching this course.  Mr. Taaca has interviewed a lot of youth and has seen "the good, the bad and the ugly."  He wants to put his experience to work helping today's youth in this area.
