Local Owner Gives Volunteer Speech To Seymour High School’s Class Of Entrepreneurship

SEYMOUR, Conn. - April 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Joshua Kekac, owner of Trusted Relations Computer Clinic LLC of Seymour Connecticut, volunteered his time this past Wednesday to bring real life objective based standpoints on business in 2015 as well as personal success management to the classroom. The class, approximately 20 students were treated to an experience that inspired one of the students to approach Mr. Kekac after the presentation, shake his hand, and say “I’d like to spend my time a little more wisely”. After doing so, this student, instead of following his classmates to the cafeteria, spent his lunch period with Joshua and discussed his goals for life and the business idea that he has forming. Together they agreed to meet later in the week to further solidify exactly what the student is looking to achieve and create a business plan.

“Trusted Relations is a company founded on real human values. I did not create an environment that is purely focused on monetary goals but on the foundations of “Being the change you want to see in the world.”(Ghandi)  I looked around me in the business’s I grew up working at and realized these people were oppressed. Not empowered, and I wanted to build a place where my employees wanted to come to work, and where our customers are truly not a number and that they are welcomed to an atmosphere where loyalty, respect, honor, integrity, and morals are apparent. “ Joshua stated.

As the speech was underway, it quickly became apparent that this was not an ordinary presentation where the students were not engaged. Totaling 1hr and 23 minutes Mr. Kekac was able to keep the attention of the students with what he calls “real talk” and with the use of impactful words along with interesting useage of visual aids.

His spotlights in the speech given were on intellect building, and the power of a focused mind. He says what most entrepreneurs lack are “the intangibles” which are all the attributes that must be possessed by a person in order to succeed beyond physical items such as property, financial backing, web presence and so on. His focus,  in regards to those are social skills, visualization, dedication, determination, the power of persuasion and an investor’s mentality as opposed to a consumers.

Joshua has already been invited back for a second visit and according to him he will be continuing to be involved in the community and growing its children to become successful young men and woman who believe in themselves and are empowered to achieve their dreams.
