Thousands of miles separate the two incidents, yet it seems that both were the victims of the same unknown, unseen entity. LONDON, APRIL 2015 - “ALPHA WARRIORS – ELECTRICAL STORM” is the second in a series of eBook novellas featuring Earth’s newest heroes, the Alpha Warriors. Aimed primarily at eight to twelve year-olds, Alpha Warriors are a team of superheroes from the planet Caduceus, charged with defeating the evil empire of the greatest ex-Warrior of all time, Lord Oberon, and stopping his forces from invading planet Earth.

“ALPHA WARRIORS” is the creation of first-time writer Neil P. Simpson. Initially conceived as an animated, action/ adventure children’s television project and developed with enough storylines for two full series of 22-minute episodes, he began adapting his scripts into novellas in the summer of 2014. Each story is planned to weigh in between 30-50,000 words. The third Alpha Warriors novella, ‘Claws Of The Red Hawk’, will be released in July 2015 and will be followed by a further ten releases up to November 2017.

Ever since reading his brother’s home-made comics at the age of six, Neil has been entranced and influenced by the kind of fiction – both adult and children’s – that ignited and broadened his imagination. He has spent the last decade developing Alpha Warriors from ideas he had as a child. In a previous life he dabbled with acting (performing a one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe to great acclaim), but creating and developing ideas is his greatest passion, along with supporting an up-and-down soccer team, licquorice allsorts and drinking green tea of an evening. Originally hailing from Wolverhampton in the English Midlands, Neil resides in London and is a single parent to his biggest critics – his two young daughters.
