Light refreshments will be served. Wall Street financial planner D. Alexis Samuels will be the keynote speaker. His presentation is entitled “Innovation: He said, “Kids need to be exposed to tools that help them learn on a relational basis. These games are practical and keep their attention with humor and competition.” Samuels has partnered with colleges, financial institutions, corporations and non-profits to fund educational supplies for grade schools and scholarships for trade schools and universities. Hrehorovich and his brother Ziggy formed the Guild in November 2014. The Guild’s mission meshes perfectly with that of the Innovation Center; each strives to foster creativity, collaboration and community. Z. Hrehorovich said the key to entrepreneurial success is “networking, networking and networking.” JT Carter of the 1950’s doo-wop group “The Crests” will perform his famous classic, “Sixteen Candles.” Carter is considered a visionary who brought together the first interracial vocal group during a time of great racial divide. He will also sing “Buckle up for Safety,” an original song he created as a public service announcement and proposed to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for their use. A. Hrehorovich said, “Inventions aren’t just gadgets; they can take many forms from songwriting, publishing, fashion design, game creation all the way to the better mousetrap. There’s no limit to what the human brain can conceive.” The Guild is located at The Innovation Center, 562 Independence Road (Route 447), Suite 144, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
