BALTIMORE - April 2, 2015 - PRLog -- March 26, 2015 – Melodic Intersect, a world fusion group, formed by U.S. (Baltimore, MD) based tabla player and percussionist, Enayet Hossain and guitarist, Hans Utter from (Columbus, OH). It features a rotating, internationally famed group of musicians. Inner Vision features tabla player Enayet Hossain, an established and renowned Indian classical musician.  He has toured throughout the world and has played with the top musicians of India and has many cd and dvd releases.  Hans Utter, guitarist and composer has roots in Rock and many other genres of music as well as Indian classical music. Hans brings a fresh and fluid dynamic into the group.  Hidayat Khan, son and student of the legendary Ustad Vilayat Khan has made a name in India and abroad with his masterful sitar playing and work in film and popular music.  Tarun Bhattacharya, an internationally known performer of the hammered dulcimer known as the Santoor is the student of the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar and has collaborated with such iconic artists as George Harrison and Pandit Ravi Shankar.  Greg Hatza is featured on the piano and is a renowned jazz musician based in Baltimore. Greg has tremendous knowledge in Indian music and can easily bridge his masterful playing of jazz and Indian classical music.  Avirodh Sharma is featured on percussions and is very well recognized as one of the top Caribbean percussionists in the world today. Melodic Intersect of Baltimore, MD was named by Music Resource Group (MRG) as a Nominee of the 14th Independent Music Awards (The IMAs), the influential awards program for independent artists and releases. Independent Music Awards nominations in more than 80 Album, Song, EP, Music Producer, Music Video and Design categories were announced for self-released and independent label artists from Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Canada, Colombia, England, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Mali, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, United States and Tibet.

The eclectic mix of established and rising talent nominated in The 14th IMAs were culled from thousands of submissions that were released during the program’s eligibility period, from June, 2013 thru December 2014.
