Conceptz Goes Hollywood!

It has been a fast and furious ride for the Rap – Hip Hop Duo Conceptz.  The group, which hails out of Orange County, NY with the help of their Management Company and label, Hydra Management, has spent the past six months taking their brand global.

Over the past six months they have travelled extensively including performances at SOB’s in NY, the Caribbean Edge in London, England which featured an appearance at the hottest club in London, Club 49.

Conceptz has been promoting their single “Love Jones” which features R&B singer MelodiQ of Melo Dream Entertainment.  Love Jones reached #17 on the Billboard charts and has created a buzz in the industry that no one expected.  Riding a nationwide Radio Campaign that saw the track in rotation on over two dozen radio stations worldwide, Conceptz recently travelled to Los Angeles, California to shoot the video for Love Jones.

This video represents the first time the duo conceptualized their own music video which was directed by Christian Strickland who has made a name for himself directing videos for many established artists in the industry including AG, Young Jeezy, Waka Flocka, Gorilla Zoe and many others.

In light of the Love Jones track’s surprising climb on the Billboard Charts, the video has been much anticipated.  Conceptz has experienced incredible success with their three previous videos, Say What’s Real, Before Rap and most recently “The Purest One” which received over 500,000 views worldwide and was featured on World Star, Vevo, MTV.Com, VladTV, iTuneyouin and reached Platinum status on Trilla TV after only 3 weeks!

Conceptz continues to travel and promote their music and brand with an upcoming show on April 5^th at Webster Hall in NY, April 28^th at SOB’s NY as well as being featured as a Headline act at Urban Network’s Back 2 Basics Music Conference in San Diego, CA June 4 thru 7.

The video will premiere exclusively on Vevo on April 14^th and will also be featured on MTV.com, Bongo Boy TV, Video City TV and Trilla TV.  No doubt this video will be all over the Internet in a very short period of time.

Look for a new single release from Conceptz to hit the charts this summer as they have just recently finished recording their newest hit “Funky 5”.  The video is scheduled for production in May 2015 and will be shot in New York City.
