CHARLOTTE, N.C. - April 1, 2015 - PRLog -- “We are excited about our partnership with Harris Teeter as the launching pad for our new Sterilyfe Hand Sanitation Stations.  Harris Teeter grocery was one of the first grocers to start the trend of giving away free hand wipes to their customers many years ago.  Since then almost every major retail grocer has followed suit,” said Sean Quinn, President of Sterilyfe USA.  “Harris Teeter cares about their customers and has always been known as a leader in innovation in the grocery space.  For these two reasons, they are the perfect partner for us to launch this industry-changing vehicle for both the shopper and the advertiser.”

“Harris Teeter prides itself on providing our shoppers a clean shopping environment. That is why we are proud to partner with Sterilyfe to introduce these new hand sanitation stations exclusively to select Harris Teeter locations. We believe our shoppers will appreciate this convenience which not only enhances the excellent customer service they have come to expect from their Harris Teeter, but also contributes to the health and wellness of their families as well as our valued associates,” states Danna Jones, Communication Manager, Harris Teeter Corporate.

Most locations will have 2 stations located in the center of the vestibule at the front of the store.  Each station contains 2 canisters of hand wipes attached to the side, an automatic faucet which dispenses an alcohol-free, all-natural, foam hand sanitizer called Natrezza (Sterilyfe’s proprietary formula), and a 32” digital interactive touchscreen providing weekly offers for the customers.

“This truly has become the destination for the customer to start their shopping experience,” continued Quinn.  “It’s a win/win for the customer with two forms of hand sanitation and instant savings offers that change weekly.  For the advertiser, the draw of the hand sanitation and the easy-to-use design of the touchscreen translates into a 33% overall customer engagement.  This in-store digital advertising vehicle and its ability to drive the digital impulse buyer into measurable action has produced conversions and analytics never garnered by the more traditional, analog in-store options that currently consume this space.”

Sterilyfe USA is headquartered in Sarasota, FL.  They own the design and utility patents that combine the use of hand sanitation and all forms of advertising in a stand-alone device.  Sterilyfe plans to continue its expansion into other retailers in the grocery space by the end of 2015 along with gaining a foothold in the pharmacy space and in the transportation arena.
