atHOME Victoria Magazine Finds Instant Success with Premiere Issue in Local Market

VICTORIA, British Columbia - April 1, 2015 - PRLog -- The first issue of Glossy Media’s atHOME Victoria magazine hit the streets recently and was an instant success. Victoria, British Columbia’s newest glossy magazine covers interior design, feature homes, real estate, food, wine and Vancouver Island lifestyle all with a very focused at home, local perspective. A free publication available city-wide, 15,000 copies disappeared quickly and demand was high. The overwhelming response from the public and advertisers means that the magazine will grow with more of its signature informative editorial, eye-catching photography and cutting-edge design.

Tracey Drake, Editor in Chief of atHOME Victoria, curated the magazine's editorial content to focus on Victoria’s unique style of interior design and real estate. Being both locally owned and managed, the magazine aims to reflect the community in which it is based. “I am very excited about the immediate success of atHOME Victoria magazine and how well the community has received it.”

Having partnered with some of the city's biggest and brightest in their respective fields, every issue features articles by renowned Victoria interior designer, Jenny Martin; owner of The London Chef, and star of the cooking show Moosemeat & Marmalade, Chef Dan Hayes; and local sommelier and sought after wine expert Stuart Brown. The magazine also highlighted some of Victoria’s most stunning homes, decor D.I.Y, contemporary décor inspiration, travel, art and restaurant reviews and local product shopping guides.
