ACI: Mister and Bass to Chair ACI-CRN Forum on Dietary Supplements

NEW YORK - April 1, 2015 - PRLog -- American Conference Institute (ACI) is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) for ACI’s 3rd annual Legal, Regulatory and compliance Forum on Dietary Supplements.  Scott Bass, Head of Global Life Sciences at Sidley Austin and Steve Mister, President and CEO of CRN will serve as co-chairs of this year’s event which will take place at the Carlton Hotel in New York City on June 24-25 2015.

As Stephanie Butler, Division Manager of ACI’s  Life Sciences and Health Care Division noted, “ ACI’s collaboration with CRN solidifies this event’s “must-attend” status  for the dietary supplements industry’s legal and regulatory ‘movers and shakers.’ This is the meeting they attend to discuss, assess and analyze the political, legislative, regulatory and judicial developments impacting business decisions and long-term strategies.”

Lisa J. Piccolo, Senior Industry Manager, Life Sciences and Health Care with ACI stated “ACI is honored to have the opportunity to work with CRN, and is delighted  that Scott Bass and Steve Mister to be co-chairing. “

Piccolo went on to say “ this is a watershed year for  legal and regulatory developments impacting the dietary supplements industry. As such the need for this conference has never been greater. With political change in Washington, a leadership vacuum at  FDA’s CFSAN’s Division of Dietary Supplement Programs, and the New York AG’s investigation, the industry is facing great challenges.. ACI has designed this year’s agenda with all this in mind and seeks to provide a forum to help the industry find solutions to these and other  day-to-day dilemmas impacting supplement manufacturers.”
