ChemDAQ Distribution Agreement with SciCan Ltd Expands Availability of Biocide Vapor Detection

PITTSBURGH - April 1, 2015 - PRLog -- ChemDAQ Inc., the leader in environmental monitoring systems for low-temperature and liquid chemical biocides, announced a distribution agreement with SciCan Ltd., a full spectrum infection control solution provider. SciCan will offer ChemDAQ’s Steri-Trac® line of environmental monitoring systems for Peracetic Acid, Hydrogen Peroxide, Ozone and Ethylene Oxide vapors.

Biocides are used in meat production, fruit and vegetable processing, aseptic beverage packaging and healthcare environments. These chemicals are used as intervention chemicals, anti-microbial disinfectants and sterilants. Overexposure to these essential chemicals poses risks for workers in these industries. Continuous monitoring is the only way to immediately detect levels of toxic vapors to which employees are exposed.
