Enchanted Closet equips girls with skills to use beyond prom night, PROM Prep 101 and Vendor Fair

Organization provides program to empower and encourage young ladies to succeed
 
ATLANTA - March 23, 2015 - PRLog -- The Enchanted Closet (http://www.enchantedcloset.org/), a volunteer-run nonprofit organization serving teenage girls from low-income households across metro Atlanta, will host PROM Prep 101 on Saturday, March 28 from 11:00 am-4:00 pm at Northlake Mall, 4800 Briarcliff Road, Atlanta 30345. The Enchanted Closet hosts PROM Prep 101 as part of their mission to prepare girls for social and professional milestones. The program will show young ladies how to be poised, responsible, observant and mannerly from various presenters: MsNickee Mack of Diva Day International Modeling Agency presenting “Skin Care and Makeup Tips and How to Walk Gracefully and Properly in Heels”; Skye Walton of Divas in Defense presenting “Self-Love and Self-Defense”; and Donna Riley of Paige’s Etiquette Seminars, LLC presenting “Dining Etiquette and Social Graces”. The girls will also be treated to a four course meal prepared by Chef Frederick Haynes, owner of Quinland’s Cuisine.

While girls are being equipped with life skills that will aid them on prom night and for the rest of their lives, a vendor fair will take place in center court of the mall to provide companies with an opportunity to raise awareness about their brand and market their products and services to Northlake Mall patrons. MsNickee Mack, Diva Day International Modeling Agency

MsNickee Mack is the CEO and Founder of Diva Day International, a full service modeling, makeup and talent development agency. Diva Day has worked with a number of events, reality shows and videos including the Bronner Brothers Hair Show, Lifetime Television, Project Curves, Atlanta International Fashion Week and the Tupac Shakur Charity Benefit. A valued Enchanted Closet community partner, Diva Day has collaborated with the organization to offer a variety of programming to enhance the self-esteem of girls.

Donna Paige Riley, Paige’s Etiquette

Paige’s Etiquette Seminars, LLC formerly Paige’s Charm and Modeling Studio has been serving and enhancing the confidence of both children and adults around the United States for over 20 years. From “Public Speaking” workshops to “Business Over Lunch” seminars, and by hosting the What is Etiquette Anyway radio program that keeps listeners updated on the latest and greatest rules of etiquette,  Paige’s Etiquette continues to meet individual’s personal and professional goals.

Skye Walton, Divas in Defense

Skye Walton is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Karate with a love for mentoring girls. That is what attracted her to Divas in Defense where she is revamping the Girls Can Fight Too! Program. Divas in Defense was started by two brothers who witnessed domestic violence first hand. The mission of Divas in Defense is to empower women of all ages with the training and tools imperative to their personal safety and the safety of their families. Through fun, instinctive learning; women gain the knowledge to protect and arm themselves while gaining confidence to be Fierce and Fabulous! Divas in Defense has had extensive television coverage and even appeared on an episode of Bravo’s hit series, Real Housewives of Atlanta.

About The Enchanted Closet:

The Enchanted Closet is a volunteer-run, private non-profit service organization whose mission is to physically, mentally, and emotionally outfit Metro Atlanta high school girls from low-income families through programs that prepare them for social and professional milestones.
