Global Players Launches New Intern Abroad Program in Europe

Student-athlete study abroad provider, Global Players (GP) launches their newest product- the Global Professionals (GPro) program- a unique internship abroad experience that is sure to set you apart.
AMSTERDAM - March 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Global Players has brought on international entrepeneur Rob Novorlosky to head up their newest program- Global Professionals (GPro) due to launch this June 2015 in Amsterdam. GPro is an overseas internship program where both undergraduate students and recent graduates gain valuable global experience through international internships from six weeks to one year. GP's hand picked 'global professionals' will have an authentic expat experience while immersing him/herself within the local culture through both internships and their sport.

“We are extremely excited about the GPro program,” says Jess Thornton, Director of Marketing and Student Enrollment. “Global work experience is vital to your resume if you want to truly set yourself apart. As students, you are no longer just competing with your fellow graduates, you are competing with the world. So with our new product comes the opportunity to leverage your resume while growing both personally and professionally. GPro allows us to help student-athletes immerse in the local culture in two ways- through their sport and their jobs.”

Director of the GPro program, Robert Novorolsky, has lived this experience first-hand as an expat working in both Berlin and Amsterdam with international startups. His expertise extends to travel, culture, student mentorship, and, of course, sport, which will give GPro the flexibility and connectivity needed to be successful. Rob is also currently the Head Coach of the Women’s Lacrosse German National Team.

“Rob has been an indirect supporter of Global Players for years so when we decided to kick start this new program he was an obvious first choice.” said Thornton. “He [Rob] is going to make a name for GPro, no doubt.”

In a global economy where companies have multinational operations and international clients, it is more important than ever for students to develop an professional skillset before graduation. That is why becoming a ‘global professional’ can be a game changer.
