DETROIT - March 22, 2015 - PRLog -- The Mobile Technology Association of Michigan (MTAM) is pleased to announce that three of its member firms are included among the Michigan 50 Companies to Watch for 2015. The award, sponsored by Michigan Celebrates Small Business, honors growth-oriented businesses based on market expansion, job creation, technological innovation, and community impact. jacAPPS (Bingham Farms)
Marvel Apps, LLC (Royal Oak)
Spud Software (Grand Blanc Township)

To be considered for the award companies must be privately held and headquartered in Michigan, have between six and 99 employees and generate between $750,000 to $50 million in annual revenue, or have working capital from investors or received grants in 2014. The complete list of winners of the 2015 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch can be found at

The theme for this year’s awards event is ‘Unleashing Innovation and Growth’, and according to MTAM’s Executive Director, Linda Daichendt, innovation and growth are representative traits of all MTAM member firms. “We are extremely proud that three of our members have been selected among the state’s 50 Companies to Watch for 2015, but we’re not at all surprised. Firms working in all areas of the mobile/wireless technology space are driven by innovation and very focused on growth, and those who are part of MTAM are among the best of the best in the field. They not only represent themselves and our state well, but they also represent our industry well across the nation and around the globe,” says Daichendt.

Michigan Celebrates Small Business was launched in 2005 by the Michigan Small Business Development Center, U.S. Small Business Administration, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Edward Lowe Foundation, Small Business Association of Michigan, and Chris Holman – Small Business Advocate. MiQuest is the Managing Partner for Michigan Celebrates Small Business. The mission is to highlight the contributions small businesses make to the state’s economy. Nearly 1,000 are expected to attend this year’s awards event. For details and to purchase tickets, visit
