Summer Rock Camps in Middletown, NJ

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - March 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Rock’n Music Academy in Middletown, NJ is offering three weeks of summer rock camp and a week of summer recording camp. The camps are open to guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano, and vocal students ages 7-17.

The rock camps focus on the art of playing in a band and what it takes to put on a successful concert. Both classic and contemporary rock and pop songs by bands such as Green Day, ACDC, Fall Out Boy, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, and Rush are covered. Students take part in daily band rehearsals and technique/theory workshops to hone their skills. The week culminates with a live concert!

The recording camp focuses on writing and recording original music with professional equipment. Students learn professional songwriting techniques and how to craft well-written songs. At the conclusion of the camp the students receive a cd of their original songs!
