Kauffman Foundation and France Angels meet at EBAN's Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Milan

NEW YORK - March 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Business angels, entrepreneurs, research and development partners from more than 60 countries across the world converge in Milan, Italy from March 16 to 19 for the 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Congress. This premiere global event features parallel summits and meetings including an Angel Summit, a Research and Policy Summit, a Global Entrepreneurship Week Meeting, a Global Entrepreneurship Index Master-class and a Start and Scale Forum. The Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC) agenda combines a series of breakout, plenary and parallel sessions. The event kicks off with two annual meetings namely the Global Entrepreneurship Week and the Global Entrepreneurship Research Network. These two invite-only activities organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Network take place at the Aula Carlo De Carli, each running for half a day. An invite-only reception hosted at a private venue by UniCredit Group caps the day. On day two of the congress, attendees can expect to showcase their work on the GEC Ideaspace and Expo 2015 Italian Pavillion. Agenda for this day features a host of activities including the GEC opening ceremony, Start and Scale keynote speeches, and a number of breakout and parallel sessions. Day 3’s agenda starts with a “Wake Up Investors” session organized by Business Angel Network. Discussions in this session will be about public-private partnerships and early stage investing. Other sessions scheduled for this day include “Start-up Communities that are Changing the World”, “Mentoring Young Entrepreneurs”, “Supporting Social Innovation”, “Ninja Academy”, “Equity and Lending: Recent Crowdfunding Developments”, “Leading Entrepreneurial Cities”, “Empowering Young Entrepreneurs” and much more. Day 3’s agenda also features invite-only sessions that include the ACE Summit and BAE Club Networking and Pitches. The day ends with a networking coffee break at Brown 3.
