WILTON, Conn. - March 18, 2015 - PRLog -- March 18, 2015 (Wilton, CT) – The Lamb Cooperative announced today that it is launching a new signature Lamb Empanada targeting foodservice operators nationally. This concept, which was first introduced at the National Restaurant Association Show, is a ready-to-cook concept that makes it easier for foodservice operators to introduce lamb to their patrons in a new and exciting way.

The new Lamb Empanadas will be available under the Lamb Cooperative’s Diamond Valley brand and distributed nationally through a number of foodservice distributors including Sysco, US Foods, Gordon Foodservice, and PFG. “We are excited by this new item and wanted to make sure foodservice operators throughout the country could get their hands on it,” said Bill Santos, National Sales Manager for the Lamb Cooperative.  “We’ve partnered with all of our trusted foodservice distribution partners to make sure that this product is available nationwide.”

With this latest entry into the company’s product portfolio, the Lamb Cooperative is fast becoming a leader in value-added lamb products. The Lamb Empanadas will be available nationwide starting on March 23, 2015.
